Coding for kids is a concept that is starting to gain traction in the Philippines. Some believe that early adoption in children is as valuable as English and Math, while some are still unsure about its full potential. In fact, coding instills skills that are useful for any job in today’s modern workforce.
“Our students won’t necessarily become computer programmers,” says Maita Mojica, cofounder of My Code, Inquirer Academy’s partner in coding for kids courses. “But to develop that creative and critical thinking needed in coding is very important.”
Here are more reasons why a coding boot camp is the perfect summer activity for your child:
