To kick off its direct Manila-Bangkok flights, AirAsia Philippines is offering all-in promo fares for as low as P1,990 one way starting this Wednesday, March 1.
The promo fares are available until March 11, and are valid for travel from April 22, 2018 to October 27, 2018.
Below is the flight schedule starting April 22:
- Flight number Z2 287: Manila (departure 6:35 p.m.) to Don Mueang International Airport (arrival 8:50 p.m.) every Monday, Friday, Sunday
- Flight number Z2 288: Don Mueang International Airport (departure 9:20 p.m.) to Manila (arrival 1:50 a.m.) every Monday, Friday, Sunday
- Flight number Z2 287: Manila (departure 6:25 p.m.) to Don Mueang International Airport (arrival 8:40 p.m.) every Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday
- Flight number Z2 288: Don Mueang International Airport (departure 9:15 p.m.) to Manila (arrival 1:45 a.m.) every Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday
AirAsia Philippines CEO Dexter Comendador said the new route was meant to further strengthen the airline’s commitment as a “truly Asean carrier.”
“AirAsia is a product of Asean and we are so proud to be part of this region we call home. We are thrilled to add Manila – Bangkok into our ever growing network following the launch of Manila – Jakarta and Manila – Bali last January,” Comendador said in a statement.
“We want to bring the people across the Asean region closer together and further expand our Asean footprint to serve more and more communities,” he added.
The airline also offers several flights to Malaysia, Vietnam, and Singapore from Manila and Cebu in the Philippines.
“Our commitment is not only to build leisure destinations but also to help bridge communities and economies across the region as we move toward even greater integration and mutual understanding,” Comendador said.
AirAsia has established operations based in Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Philippines, India, and Japan, servicing a network stretching across all Asean countries and beyond. /je
