For over two decades, the Philippine World Building and Construction Expo (Worldbex) has exhibited its capacity to comprehensively nurture all sectors of the building and local construction industry.

Particularly, Worldbex has established itself as a purveyor of creativity and design through event highlights that especially cater to interior design and architecture; urging practitioners and enthusiasts alike to not just build, build, and build but to do so in consideration of sophisticated and mindful design planning and creative execution.

As the much-anticipated trade show returns to deliver its 23rd edition, Worldbex upholds its promise to promote the significant role that design assumes in building and construction as it presents this year’s Architect’s Gallery and the City of Tomorrow exhibit.

Conforming to this year’s Worldbex theme of “Shaping Innovations Toward Sustainability”, the driving philosophy that informs these design-centered show highlights is a commitment to incorporate sustainable and innovative practices in the conceptualization of designs.

Top architects

Throughout the five-day expo, attendees are encouraged to visit the Architect’s Gallery.

Here, a select handful of the industry’s top architects along with their respective firms are allotted a space where they are to present an installation of their latest design concepts.

Apart from gaining a firsthand look at the most up to date architectural trends, visitors may take advantage of free consultations and a chance to interact with the architects themselves.

Participants in this year’s Architect’s Gallery include Angeles Architectural Studio, Jagnus Design Studio, Buensalido Architects, Arco Group, Carunungan and Partners, Delab Collaborative Inc., WTA Architecture and Design Studio, Primea Design Group, Jonathan Gan and Associates, Edward Co Tan Architects, Oyek Designs, Nazareno + Guerrero and Uo2 Architects.

Aside from turning the spotlight on the ingenuity of contemporary Philippine architecture, the exhibit celebrates the industry’s capacity to envision and realize a more progressive future of the country’s urban landscape.

Worldbex 2018, the biggest construction exposition of the year, will happen from March 14 to 18 at three mega venues: World Trade Center Metro Manila, Philippine Trade Training Center and SMX Convention Center.
