/ 05:07 AM February 20, 2018

Maynilad Water Services has set aside at least P9 billion for infrastructure projects in 2018, covering both water and wastewater.

According to Maynilad, about P6.5 billion or two-thirds of the capital expenditure is earmarked for water projects, as part of efforts to enhance supply and water pressure in its West Zone concession area.

Maynilad president and chief executive Ramoncito S. Fernandez said in a statement funding for this year’s infrastructure projects would come from loans, from both local and international banks, as well as from internally generated funds.
