Slovak parliament ratifies eurozone bailout fund
BRATISLAVA—Slovak lawmakers on Thursday approved an increase in the eurozone’s EFSF bailout fund to 440 billion euros ($600 billion), which is now fully ratified as the other eurozone members approved it earlier.
Slovakia, the last country in the 17-member eurozone to vote on the fund designed to help debt-mired eurozone states, held a second vote after a failed attempt to push it through parliament on Tuesday also toppled the center-right government.
