Tourism estate to rise in Clark
Clark Development Corp. said that a P2.6-billion tourism estate would be constructed in the freeport zone, expecting completion by 2020.
In a statement, CDC said the project, called Sharp Clark Hills, would be put up in a 2.2-hectare property in the freeport by JB Clark Hills Corp., a joint venture between South Korea’s Posco Engineering and Construction Co. Ltd. and JB Cresta Corp. The latter is a leisure estate developer and locator in Clark Freeport.
Considered as Clark’s first premium residential town with five high-rise condominium buildings. The concept combines apartments and resorts into a new type of residential complex.
“Posco E&C’s entry here will not only enhance the landscape of Clark but will also define the freeport’s attractiveness as a premier investment hub,” said CDC president-CEO Noel F. Manankil in a statement.
CDC said the project was expected to employ 500 workers during construction, while there would be 50 to 70 regular workers once fully operational.
