To launch this promo, excellent host Johnny Litton welcomed Wilcon executives, invited industry partners, and media partners gathered at Marco Polo Ortigas Manila to witness the official unveiling of the promotion, wherein up to P1.6 million worth of prizes will be given away.
In a brief speech, Wilcon founder and chair emeritus William Belo expressed his heartfelt gratitude towards the attendees for the continuous support the company has been receiving for the past 40 years.
He shared that they are committed in carrying their products and experiences with the same amount of passion and service that they have been giving for the last 40 years.
“This is our way of giving back to our customers for their unceasing patronage that can certainly add thrill and excitement in their home shopping experience. We always look forward and think big in conceptualizing to give only the best kind of promo offerings to our clients,” added Wilcon SEVP-chief operating officer Rosemarie B. Ong.
From October 1 to 31, 40 lucky customers will get a chance to win P40,000 worth of Wilcon e-GCs. To join, simply shop at any Wilcon branches nationwide and earn one raffle entry for every single P5,000 worth of cash or card purchase.

On the same week of the launch, Wilcon Depot conducted a tree-planting activity at the La Mesa Nature Reserve in partnership with ABS-CBN Lingkod Kapamilya’s environmental arm, Bantay Kalikasan.
As one of its corporate social responsibility initiatives, the tree-planting activity was in line with the Protect-A-Hectare Project, in which the company has become part of Save the La Mesa Watershed Project by adopting 10 hectares of land at the area.
Wilcon chairman William Belo; Wilcon president and chief executive officer Lorraine Belo-Cincochan; SEVP-COO Rosemarie Ong; and EVP-chief product officer Careen Belo spearheaded the activity together with company officers and employees in planting some 4,000 seedlings on the 10 hectares of land.
Wilcon activity started with a brief environmental awareness lecture by David Azurin, project operations head of Save the La Mesa Watershed Project. Having to do with environmental awareness and conservation, the campaign aims to get the public involved in saving the 2,700-hectare La Mesa Watershed Area by adopting trees.
Towards the objective of preserving the environment, Mr. Belo said that it was the second time for them to conduct such an activity. Last 2011, Wilcon carried out its first tree-planting activity that was also held in La Mesa Nature Reserve where they planted 450 Cupang trees over one hectare of land.
Aside from tree-planting activities, another one of its green advocacies was Run for Environment held last 2016. This Eco Trail run event was a fund raising drive that supported the La Mesa Nature Reserve for its environmental projects.
Wilcon stays driven by its advocacy in building an environmentally conscious nation and commits itself in leaving a legacy to help supply water and clean air to the Filipino community.
