Peso returns to 50:$1 level

The peso on Tuesday returned to 50:$1 level, closing at 50.915:$1 from 51.1:$1 last Monday.

At the Philippine Dealing System, the peso reached an intraday high of 50.91:$1 and a low of 51.16:$1 after opening at 51.15:$1.

The total volume traded jumped to $740.2 million from Monday’s $502.9 million. /je
