GOINGS ON: BSP, Citi, MCPI launch 15th Citi Microentrepreneurship Awards

Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) Governor Nestor A. Espenilla, Jr. and Citi Philippines CEO Aftab Ahmed led the recent launch of the annual Citi Microentrepreneurship Awards.

The awards recognize entrepreneurs who have overtaken poverty with support from microfinance institutions.

Funded by Citi Foundation, the awards is a partnership among BSP, Citi Philippines and Microfinance Council of the Philippines, Inc. (MCPI).

Cabalen Para Sa Kabataan at Lobo, Batangas

Last June 23, Cabalen Para sa Kabataan was able to give gifts to pupils of Masaguitsit Elementary School in Lobo, Batangas.

Spearheaded by Diane M. Tiongson, 300 students were given bag packs and school supplies.

To complete the student community’s day, Cabalen served delicious and healthy meals.

Cabalen para sa Kabataan is the firm’s way of thanking patrons and giving back to the community.
