Robinsons land adds 46th mall to portfolio
Gokongwei-led Robinsons Land Corp. has added the 46th shopping mall to its nationwide retail property portfolio with the opening of Robinsons Place Naga, the group’s first mall in the Bicol region.
The opening of Robinsons Place Naga increased RLC’s retail gross leasable area (GLA), which is estimated to total 1.5 million square meters at the end of this year, by about 32,000 sqm.
The newest mall in Bicol marks RLC’s 28th shopping complex in Luzon.
Based on a briefer from RLC, Robinsons Place Naga is 11 kilometers from Our Lady of Penafrancia Basilica Minore, a popular pilgrimage site among Marian devotees.
The mall is part of a mixed-use development, made up of a three-level commercial building annexed to a two-level office structure.
The new mall features homegrown restaurants such as Tugawe Cove Cafe and Earthquake. It also has a 300-seater food court on the third level alongside an al fresco area, which features stalls and communal spaces.

The ceiling features a large, leaf-shaped decor reminiscent of gabi (taro) leaves lit up with green, LED lights with white lighting that illuminate the grand entrance.
The leaf motif continues to the atrium, whose ceiling also has gargantuan leaf patterns with glowing lights that brighten the activity area.
A 2,000-plus sqm activity area located at the mall’s atrium is seen suitable for shows and events.
