Ayala-led Integrated Micro-Electronics Inc. (IMI) recently inaugurated a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility for European motorcycle giant KTM in its complex in Laguna Technopark.

As such, domestic production of KTM motorcycles is now in full swing, IMI disclosed to the Philippine Stock Exchange yesterday.

At the start, the plant will employ about 50 people—consisting of 40 workers and 10 engineers and technicians—but the number will triple to 150 at full capacity.
