Worldbex is said to be the country’s biggest construction expo, with some 2,000 aspiring exhibitors expected to book for 2018.

It pays to plan early and plan well, if you’re looking to get ahead of your game.

For companies engaged in construction, design, and other related industries for instance, a practical way of doing so is to get maximum exposure through the right platform, such as fairs, exhibits and expos. And the right time to get it done is now.

Worldbex Services International, the country’s leading events and exhibitions organizer, is organizing next week an “advance booking day” to give more companies a fair chance to be part of its highly anticipated construction expos.

These include the Philippine World Building and Construction Expo (Worldbex), said to be the country’s biggest construction expo, which provides unrivaled access to the latest and most innovative products and services in the market, insights on industry trends, and a platform for B2B opportunities. Other expos include two regional franchises namely Philbex Davao and Philbex Cebu.

Advance booking

As it seeks to further improve and organize the booking process for these construction shows, WSI is holding on May 22 the Advance Booking Day for Worldbex 2018 , Philbex Cebu 2018, and Philbex Davao 2018.

From 2 p.m. onwards, interested exhibitors and participants will be able to book in advance their booths at the Philippine Trade Training Center.

Some 2,000 aspiring exhibitors are expected to book for next year’s edition of Worldbex, reportedly the biggest batch since 1996.

A total of 60,000 sqm of space at the World Trade Center Metro Manila, Philippine Trade Training Center, and SMX Convention Center will be made available to the exhibitors.

If you’re interested, better take note of the following details before heading on WSI’s advance booking day.

Interested exhibitors must bring a photocopy of their company’s permit, either from the Securities and Exchange Commission or the Department of Trade and Industry.

All companies that will exhibit at the main hall of WTCMM are required to do a special booth design.

Booked booths cannot be upgraded or downgraded once the contract has been signed.

Reserved booths require a fee of P20,000 within one week after the Advance Booking event. Failure to settle the fee will forfeit the reservation.

Companies who have been taking part in Worldbex shows for 22 consecutive years will be given priority in selecting their booth location.

Booth sharing and sub-leasing are strictly prohibited and are subject to penalties.

Slots at the PTTC and SMX Convention Center will be offered on a first come, first served basis.

All booths are considered not taken—except for the booths allocated for International Exhibitors and associations. Each exhibitor will be given a fair chance to avail of any of the booths based on guidelines.

Booth spaces awarded to exhibitors are irrevocable and cannot be downgraded nor reduced in number after the Advance Booking Day. Should the exhibitor decide to reduce the number of booths at any time after May 22, 2017, reservation fee is non-refundable and all reserved booths will be forfeited.

Exhibitors are liable to pay 50 percent of the total space cost if a cancellation is made more than four months before the date of the exhibition, and the full balance if a cancellation is made four months or less prior to the commencement date of the exhibition.
