PLDT vows to ‘fully cooperate’ in DOLE audit of labor practices
Philippine Long Distance Telephone Co. (PLDT) said on Wednesday that it had not received any order from the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) regarding what the department said were its violations of labor standards. But it promised to “fully cooperate” with the DOLE in the department’s ongoing audit.
Earlier in the day, the DOLE issued a statement in which Labor Secretary Silvestre Bello took note of PLDT’s use of service contractors.
