LEGAZPI CITY — Another SM City mall will be constructed here following its groundbreaking ceremony Wednesday.

Annie Garcia, president of SM Supermalls, with local officials headed by Governor Al Francis Bichara, Legazpi City Mayor Noel Rosal and Bishop Joel Baylon joined the groundbreaking ceremony of the new branch which will become operational by second quarter of 2018. The new mall will be located on the land owned by the city government at the city’s central business district.

“The 5.28 hectares, three-story building will offer entertainment and leisure activities,” Garcia said.

“With the construction of this SM, more employment will be created for our residents,” Rosal said.

The SM Supermalls is part of the SM Prime Holdings. Here in Legazpi City, a SaveMore Supermarket, also by SM, is already serving Albay.  SFM
