February is the perfect month to infuse positive energy into your home. Because the Victory Star is at the center of the Year of the Rooster chart, all animal signs will benefit from the auspicious chi 2017 brings.
To attract this energy to flow into your living place, add an indoor plant and position this in the east side of the home or office.
You may also decorate the area with paintings or objects with a flora and fauna design. Add throw pillows with plant patterns to your living room set to further enhance this element.
Curated furniture
W/17 is a haven for homeowners and interior designers for curated home accessories and furniture. It also offers beautiful home furnishings that have floral and plant patterns to add a refreshing touch.
Andy Vazquez Prada and Kaye Tinga of W/17 have travelled the world to fill up their showroom with the most astounding décor suited for all interior design styles.
W/17 recently invited friends to champagne and tea to celebrate the Year of the Rooster, together with Wedgwood China. W/17 owners and Mila Guerra Lee of Wedgwood welcomed guests like Dawn Zulueta Lagdameo, Alice Eduardo, Small Laude, and Irene Araneta to the exclusive event launching Wedgwood, which is now available at W/17.
Top interior designers like Rene Orosa, Tania Fricke and Paolo Del Rosario were also present, enjoying the tea selections and the menu of Cibo by Margarita Fores.
Finer things
Wedgwood is backed by over 250 years of history, a heritage that not a lot of brands in Manila can claim.
Its teaware and tableware collections have enjoyed the patronage of royal families, celebrities, and families all over the world. It continues to be a brand of choice among those with a taste for the finer things in life. Tea steeped and drunk in Wedgwood tastes infinitely better, owing to its best-in-class fine bone china material.
Wedgwood elevates the experience of enjoying tea through a wide range of patterns—from modern and elegant like the Arris set, to the minimalist and dainty Vera Wang collections, to the Imperial collection’s oriental appeal, and a few more in between.
You can build your Wedgwood collection a few pieces at a time, and even mix and match across collections to come up with your own unique set that will be enjoyed even by the next generations.
W/17 was a natural choice for Wedgwood to showcase its lovely pieces in Manila, given its positioning as a veritable treasure trove of bespoke furniture, gorgeous antiques, and unique works of art, all hand-crafted and hand-picked for the discriminating palette.
Since 2011, W/17 has been carrying a sophisticated, diversified mix of both Eastern and Western, both traditional and contemporary pieces that feature exquisite craftsmanship and original design.
