PIECE OF CAKE: PAL inaugurates Clark-Davao flight

Philippine Airlines (PAL) celebrated the inaugural flight of its Clark-Davao route with a cake-cutting ceremony attended by airline and airport officials, as well as local politicians in Pampanga.

PAL president Jaime Bautista led the ceremony with Clark Airport president Alex Cauguiran, Pampanga Rep. Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo and Gov. Lilia Pineda, according to a press statement on Wednesday.

The three times weekly direct flight service will use the 199-seater  Airbus A321, PAL said.

The Davao flight is one of four routes opened by PAL from Clark. The others are to Cebu, Puerto Princesa  and Busuanga, all using the A321. CBB
