No reason to be blue at Radisson Blu

MACTAN CITY—While the color blue connotes a feeling of sadness and gloom, one new destination in Cebu will give you all the reasons to feel everything but that.

Radisson Blu Hotel, a five-star international destination at the Queen City of the South, is out to redefine the meaning of blue, with its iconic building and interiors that evoke an “inviting and thrilling ambiance with a holistic hospitality experience that is modern and elegant.”

The hotel, after almost a year in operation, continues to serve as a fresh new landmark in the bustling and cosmopolitan hub that Cebu’s known for, according to Mina Gervacio, assistant director for marketing and communication at Radisson Blu Cebu.

“In Cebu and even across the Philippines and Asia, Radisson Blu raised the bar, upped the ante and redefined luxury for leisure and business travelers to experience hospitality over and beyond expectations,” Gervacio said in an interview with Inquirer Property.

Ranked No. 1 by Trip Advisor, Radisson Blu Hotel is jointly-owned by SM Development Corp. and Carlson Group. It has 400 business class guest rooms and suites that are functional and offer an excellent view of either the city or the Mactan Channel.

“The Radisson is reputed as the hotel that loves to say ‘yes.’ As the world’s leading hotel brand, it delivers vibrant, contemporary and engaging hospitality characterized by the ‘Yes I Can!’ service philosophy. It’s no wonder that the talk of the town is that guest never feel blue at the Radisson Blu,” Gervacio explained.

Here are some other reasons which, Gervacio said, stood proof as to how Radisson Blu Cebu had redefined the word “blu.”

The hotel, according to her, also believes that managing the property responsibly is a key to it being a premium brand. “The hotel believes that achieving great success is only possible though building trust and strengthening relationships in the community where it operates. The hotel holds respect for human rights and functions in socially equitable and environmentally sustainable business,” she explained.

The combined conceptual architecture of Wimberly Allison Tong & Goo (WATG), R. Villarosa Architects, Belt Collins, E.A. Aurelio Landscape Architects was, according to Gervacio, what made Radisson Blu Cebu more appealing to guests.

“The Blue Spa with private rooms enable guests to renew mind, body and spirit. Guests can indulge in different treatments like body scrub, facial treatment, foot and body massage such as Philippine hilot, Hawaiian Lomi-lomi, aromatheraphy and the Indonesian Deep Tissue massage,” she said.

“We always anticipate what our guests needs and ensure that they experience joy and memorable moments that is over and above their expectations,” Gervacio shared.

“Radisson Blu Cebu is a great place where great people do great. Its 100-percent Guest Satisfaction Guarantee is part of the hotel’s commitment to delight guests at every encounter from the moment of arrival to departure,” she further said.
