The engineer’s serene sanctuary

Located at the Bellefort Estates in Cavite, the Mediterranean inspired house of Nathaniel D. Dalmacio offers the owner a serene and quiet cradle.

The area proves true to the promise of being a retirement haven away from the hustle and bustle of city dwelling.

PRO-FRIENDS Architects Gideon Lleva and Willie Salinas designed the exterior, while Architect Vina Bote worked on the interiors.

Similar to other Bellefort house models, the structure is built from precast panels, roof tiles and sand blast plastered walls. A mix of green, gray, and brown is utilized for the exterior color, matched with white moldings, including the tubular fence. Interior colors are in off white for walls and blue for ceiling lines and furniture.

The owner is particularly focused on landscaping.

Dalmacio said he personally chose the different varieties of San Francisco, Royal Palm, and African Tulips to provide a forest like feel to his yard. Plant groupings include Ficus Floridana topiaries, Eugenias, Buchidas, Pandakakis and Snow bush with the scented Kamuning in corners for a soothing fragrance.

These plants, according to Dalmacio, serve as his stress reliever after a hard day’s work.

One of Dalmacio’s childhood wishes included living in a five-star hotel with its luxurious and fabulous interiors.

Today, he lives his dream in his quiet and peaceful Vivienne unit at the Bellefort haven.
