Becoming a real estate seller is often seen as an embarrassing job by a typical “Juan.”
One of the reasons would be the job’s demand for “kapal ng mukha” (thick-faced) when handing out flyers during mall exhibits or site open houses—not to mention the hours required to stand up under the sun. You’re lucky if you’re assigned inside the mall.
Overall, most people would think that this job is not one that gives prestige and dignity.
Little does the typical “Juan” realize that all these are just typical efforts that anyone will have to do regardless of the job you have. You will still have to contend with extended working hours, talk to a stranger, present and sell a report, and worse, face possible disapprovals from your superiors.
These are the things that any employee will have to deal with whatever industry he or she is in. Similarly, these are what a real estate seller could face as well. The only difference would be the rewards they get when they become an accredited real estate seller.
And because it’s a day before Christmas, I have decided to give you a special gift of thought that may help you change your mind about a being a real estate sales agent, or help you push your current real estate career to greater heights.
Here are some of the things you can look forward to when you become a real estate seller.
Limitless growth, success
I know a lot of real estate sellers who have made this their full time business and have created a name for themselves.
They only started out as property consultants, but they now have a company of their own, expanding their networks outside their local area coverage and even hiring a lot more staff to support the documentation requirements.
Efforts + income = pleasure
As the old adage goes: “pag may tiyaga, may nilaga.”
As an accredited real estate seller, you do not only get to experience “nilaga” with the effort you extend, but you also get kare-kare, crispy pata, sinigang na baboy, lechon, among others.
Imagine having a commission from sale equivalent to roughly two months worth of salary of a common employee? Definitely, the pleasure is going to be fantastic. You will finally be able to purchase those things you have imagined you can have only in your wildest dreams.
Sell and fly
I remember telling my daughter when she was being recruited to be a property consultant after graduating from college. She is the typical “Juan”, by the way.
But I simply said that before New York City and the Washington Capital are places that I would see only on TV when watching HBO or Star Movies. In my experience as a real estate seller, I was able to visit those places one year after. Believe me when I tell you, you can achieve your dreams.
Focus = integrity
All real estate sellers are able to establish a certain degree of integrity when they focus on selling a few rather than a lot. This makes them a master of their craft, thus, showing his prospective client that he could be trusted with the investment.
Indeed, with all the pluses of being a real estate seller, it would be enticing to become a real estate seller. And you can be one, too.
