With housing still considered as a major concern for the country, it is good to hear that there are still companies who strive to address this issue the best way they can.

And while they may not be able to cater to all those in need of decent housing, local real estate developers continue to pursue efforts to cater to a much bigger and broader market, introducing new products to better cater to those who still consider having a home an “aspiration.”

This week, we pay tribute to three developers who have been embarking on such measures, which have helped provide Filipinos access not only to high quality, masterfully planned homes, but also an improved and enhanced quality of life for them and their families.

STA. LUCIA LAND INC.

As the keeper of the flame, Sta. Lucia Land Inc. can be likened to one of Christmas’ most common symbols, which is the candle.

Using candles as a form of Christmas symbolism serves as a way to strengthen the passion that touches and burns in one’s heart.

In Sta. Lucia Land’s case, under the leadership of its ever dependable president Exequiel Robles, the company was able to keep the fire in the hearts of many Filipinos alive as it gave many families hope to fulfil a life long dream of having their own decent homes.

“I care not only for my family’s welfare. I have gone beyond that stage in my life. My mission now is to keep the fire burning in every Filipino’s heart and to ensure that the passion to dream and fulfil that dream will remain alive and strong,” Robles said.

“Right now, my work is not just to guarantee the future of my immediatel family but also of the people who work hard and sacrifice just to be able to provide a decent home for their loved ones,” Robles said.

Just like the candle that lights the path that Filipinos take, Robles can be likened to a flame keeper and a guardian who has helped ensure that everyone will have a fair chance to gain access to a community that would allow individuals to thrive and become strong enablers of society.

“It is my fervent wish to become an inspiration to many Filipinos. I hope to continuously inspire them to dream and to strive if only to ensure a bright future for their family. I, myself, have been through some challenging times because at an early age I was given a task to handle our business to ensure the survival of my family. And to this day, I could not believe how much we have accomplished. But I am well aware that this would not have been possible if not for the support of the entire clan,” Robles said.

“Filipinos are resilient and hard working—give them the proper tools and guide them fervently and you’ll be surprised at what they can accomplish. This coming Christmas, I can only hope for a better and brighter future for everyone. I hope that through our developments and our determination to help them fulfil their dreams, we could help keep the flame burning,” Robles concluded.
