Three leading design firms in their respective fields—AIDEA Inc., Mañosa and Co., and GSN+p Architecture Studio—have teamed up to organize a forum, “An Introduction to Passive Design in Tropical Countries,” happening on November 10 at The Marco Polo in Ortigas Center.

German professors, Dr. Helmuth Gesch and Dr. Karl Wagner, will be speaking on how passive design in tropical countries has evolved with the advent of technology and the digital data era. They will be complemented no less by local sustainability champions architects Gelo Mañosa and Liza Crespo who will share their own first hand experiences and best practices in what promises to be an insightful and informative exchange of ideas on passive design and how it impacts sustainability initiatives.
