Auto firm sets safety inspection campaign

/ 12:48 AM July 27, 2016

Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corp. (MMPC), as directed by its principal, Mitsubishi Motors Corp., will conduct a safety inspection campaign on the L200 and Strada pick up models. While there has been no reported failure in the Philippines so far, MMPC and MMC decided to pursue this proactive and preventive measure to ensure customer safety.

The inspection and/or replacement procedure of the affected airbag inflator may take about one hour and will be free of charge. Covered by the safety inspection campaign are L200 and Strada model years 2007-2014.

There will be a Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) checking/verification procedure for all potentially affected units which will be posted on MMPC’s website (https://mmpc.ph/pressrelease/mitsubishi-motors-philippines-announces-safety-inspection-campaign-for-airbag-inflator-for-l200-and-strada).

Customers may call their preferred Mitsubishi Motors dealership for servicing schedule.
