Luxury serviced residences offer many attributes which owner-operators like The Ascott Limited Philippines and Thailand believe are attractive to international travelers and expatriates.

During a recent media briefing, Gindap reported that the region, including the Philippines, is shaping up to be one of the most vibrant and attractive markets for foreign investors, leisure tourism and business travel.
“Especially here in the Philippines, Metro Manila now welcomes every type of traveler, from short-stay business people needing convenience and comfort, families traveling on holiday looking to accommodate the whole family under one dwelling, to extended-staying guests seeking a more permanent retreat which they can call home,” Gindap said.
With this development, The Ascott Makati recently unveiled its newly renovated suites that are even grander and more luxurious, further setting the benchmark in luxury living.
Each of these residences, Gindap explained, features expansive living and dining areas, designer interiors, lavish fittings, fully equipped modern kitchens, home entertainment systems as well as Wi-Fi connection.
“Another key trend that The Ascott Makati continues to encounter in this market is our guests’ desire for innovation, personalization, contemporary living and modern facilities. Considering, the millennials are becoming our fastest-growing customer segment, we must also be equally tech savvy and have a strong ability to focus on customer connection,” Gindap added.
“We will be launching soon our Executive Lounge, a premier restaurant under Myron’s and a pool bar called Que, as well as a ballroom and function rooms. For business needs, Regus at Ascott Makati operates serviced offices for lease (since April), meeting rooms and a business center,” Gindap said.
Aside from a fully equipped fitness center, tennis courts and Cubbies Room (opened in May), which is a playroom for guests’ children, a new swimming pool will soon open. The Ascott Makati’s location within Glorietta Shopping Complex enables guests to check out the numerous dining and entertainment destinations. And because it is located at the heart of the Makati business district, guests may even opt to just walk to their respective corporate offices.
“The launch of our new suites just show our in-depth understanding of regional markets, along with the fresh demands and expectations that are surfacing throughout the hotel apartment sector,” said Gindap who added that the global recognition of the brand’s outstanding achievements so far is an indication of just how successful The Ascott Limited’s international growth strategy has been.
