Why Uber is unavailable in 4 global cities

Despite its popularity and growing recognition as an efficient transport provider, Uber service is still unavailable in at least four big cities in the world.

A recent post from Fortune.com said Uber is considered as ”Number 1 Public Enemy” by taxi drivers who had protested that the transport service has been ”eating up” their livelihood and income. The grumbling drivers are from Argentina, Mexico, Spain and France.

The post also explained why Uber is unavailable in these four popular cities:

1) Barcelona, Spain

2) Buffalo, New York

Although a few areas of New York has an Uber service for years, politicians extensively safeguarded the interests of taxi companies who lobbied to shoo Uber out of the streets.

The government is open to welcome Uber in this upscale city, no negotiations had been made.

4) Frankfurt, Germany
