Xurpas creates enterprise solution unit

MOBILE technology provider Xurpas Inc. is incorporating a new subsidiary that will focus on providing mobile enterprise solutions to corporate clients.

In a disclosure to the Philippine Stock Exchange on Wednesday, Xurpas said its board of directors had approved the incorporation of Xurpas Enterprise Inc., which will become a 99.99 percent-owned subsidiary of the company.

Xurpas Enterprise will leverage the extensive mobile technology expertise across the corporation and its affiliated companies to help its clients mobile enable their business, the disclosure said.

“We wanted a group to focus on the deployment of our investee companies’ enterprise products,” Xurpas chief executive officer Nix Nolledyo said.

Xurpas is a technology company which specializes in the creation and development of digital products and services for mobile end-users, as well as the creation, development, and management of proprietary platforms for mobile operators. The company also offers mobile marketing solutions to local and international consumer brands seeking to promote their products through mobile telecommunications.

The company is valued by the market at around P22.3 billion at present.
