Commercenter Alabang one of the premier lifestyle destinations in the South

Nestled in Alabang is one of the premier lifestyle destinations in the South, Commercenter Alabang. Formally launched about a year ago, this lifestyle center situated at the crossroads of East Asia Drive, Filinvest Avenue and Commerce Avenue boasts of unique dining experiences, retail shops, entertainment hotspots and a variety of other wellness and educational centers. It’s the perfect place with an excellent balance of tenants to serve the Alabang residents and beyond.

One can visit Commercenter to indulge in gastronomic pleasures from all over the world. For those who favor Eastern flavors, there is Korean cuisine at A-Won and Japanese dining at Kessaku. For those who wish to satisfy their continental cravings, there are The Black Pig, Elbert’s Sandwiches, Chubby’s Rib Shack with Buffalo Wings N’ Things and The Belly Rub. For those on the go, there are also fast-food favorites Army Navy, Yellow Cab and Coco Hut. Commercenter further caters to the discriminating Filipino palate in Lasa Bistro, KXP (Kulinarya Experience) and The Farm.

Finally, for those who would like to spend their time at coffee shops indulging in desserts and beverages, there is the popular Café Seolhwa. The dining doesn’t stop there—specialty stores Assi Fresh Plaza (Korean Grocery) and Bacchus Epicerie offer food and drinks that shoppers can bring home to their families. Owned by Mike and Belle Grandinetti, Mona Lisa Ristorante is my personal favorite for the best Italian dishes that side of town.

Retail therapy

Aside from all the dining places, Commercenter offers state-of-the-art cinemas with clean, comfortable seats. Other than the big screen, shoppers can do some retail therapy in numerous outlets inside the mall. Many options for apparel can be found in Commercenter such as locally-made products from Spectrum, hip skater lines from Center of Gravity and exclusive designer brands from Luxuri.

Shoppers can also redecorate their homes by availing of new furniture and appliances in Décor and Kitchen Gallery. Specialized sporting and lifestyle goods can also be found at Callaway, Ducati and Epic Cycles. On top of that, one can also get a makeover and body massage at Fringe Salon while having the car checked and fine-tuned at Bridgestone Tire Center.

Aside from food and retail therapy, Commercenter also promotes health and wellness. The Asian Eye Institute, Asian Center for Dental Specialties and Centro Holistico all provide valuable services that improve the quality of living. Others offer ways to relieve stress by enrolling in classes at Evolve Yoga & Fitness or getting a cosmetic treatment at The Aivee Clinic.

Like an elegant home

The newly opened Aivee Clinic is quite like an elegant home, from the stylish furniture to the gilded mirrors and sparkling chandeliers. The beautifully styled private rooms with state-of-the-art technology are designed with class and elegance where high degrees of professional and personalized services are rendered. For inquiries and appointments, call The Aivee Clinic in Alabang at 822-1546, or text 0917-5374200.

There is also the chance to do something more active like signing up for lessons with US PGA & Tours (UPSPGAT) to help golf enthusiasts improve their score on the fairway. Through programs offered by 4C Early Learning Station, Thinking Hats, CMA Mental Arithmetic and Therabilities, kids can also make new friends and pick up new skills along the way, while teens and young adults can learn how to develop their talents, improve speech and develop confidence at La Vie Institute.

Be sure to come back every week for the many events that take place inside the mall itself. Previously, Commercenter has been the venue for bazaars, markets, concerts and even a murder mystery game. The suburban mall may have only recently opened its doors to the public but it is slowly turning into a regular haunt among Alabang residents and even mallgoers from other parts of the Metro.
