MAKATI, Philippines – The influx of fashion retail giants together with the rising desire for an alluring lifestyle have begun to change consumer preferences with more Filipinos slowly leaning towards high-end brands. In particular, designer bags which were once exclusive to the rich and affluent have become objects of desire for the aspiring middle class which mostly includes young professionals and entrepreneurs.

For most Filipino women, owning a luxury bag not only represents their status symbol but also serves as a reflection of their personality. Unfortunately, these exquisite things of beauty don’t come cheap. An average Filipina’s paycheck isn’t cut out for this kind of lifestyle.

As the leading original branded store in the Philippines, TheBagMaster seeks to make designer bags more affordable for every Filipino by selling items from iconic brands such as Longchamp, Kate Spade, Michael Kors, Coach, Guess and Nine West for a fraction of the original price found in retail shops.

The store was founded in 2013 and is the brain child of Charles Pestana. “Our goal is simple: To make it possible for Filipino women to make a stylish impression everyday without breaking the bank,” said Pestana. “All the bags we sell are 100% original and were bought straight from our trips in Singapore, Thailand, Hong Kong, United States and Europe.”

In order to make their products more accessible for everyone, TheBagMaster has partnered with PesoPay to provide online shoppers with a better, faster and safer payment facility. Through PesoPay, customers will be able to pay for online purchases securely via credit cards, ATM debit cards, GCash, SMART Money, and even cash. “Together with TheBagMaster, we hope to further build consumer confidence in purchasing high-end bags online among Filipinos,” says Mau San Andres, Senior Manager of Sales and Marketing at AsiaPay Philippines. ADVT.
