The Department of Pediatrics of the University of the Philippines-Philippine General Hospital is celebrating its 100th founding anniversary with yearlong festivities culminating in a Grand Pediatric Symposium titled “Setting Directions in Child Care for the Next 100 Years.”
This three-day conference will highlight up-to-date and evidence-based pediatric practices and management protocols. It will also present the shift of pediatric practice from doctor-driven to family and community-oriented management of major health issues.
This conference also aims to empower pediatricians to become effective practitioners amid new and emerging clinical conditions and to be reliable sources of knowledge in an increasing information and technology savvy-age.
This will be held on Sept. 9-11 at the Grand Ballroom of the Manila Hotel. Everyone is invited to attend this grand event.
