Xurpas nets P116M in six months

Consumer technology firm Xurpas Inc. grew net profit in the first semester by 10 percent year-on-year to P115.61 million on robust growth in core mobile consumer service business.

Excluding one-time expenses related to acquisitions, Xurpas’ core net income rose by 17 percent year-on-year to P122.87 million, the company said in a press statement on Friday.

Revenues for the first six months surged by 64.5 percent year-on-year to P311.99 million, Xurpas said in a press statement on Friday. Top-line growth thus accelerated from the 52-percent year-on-year expansion in the first quarter.

Gross profit increased by 65 percent year-on-year to P209.84 million for the first semester while gross profit margin remained at 67 percent.
