A tower on an island of green was how Ayala Land Premier head of sales Mike Z. Jugo described ALP’s latest luxury property in Bonifacio Global City, West Gallery Place (WGP), during its launch on Wednesday.

WGP is a 49-story residential building offering limited edition units similar to its sibling tower East Gallery Place. The two towers are separated by Gallery Park. WGP is at the corner of 28th Street and 9th Avenue and has north and south wings.

According to Jugo, what makes WGP different from competition is the location. It is strategically located at the heart of High Street South—an on-trend district of offices, restaurants, boutiques and landscaped spaces. WGP is just a block away from Bonifacio High Street.

As of to date, Jugo said EGP is at 84 percent units sold (around 343) with total value of P9.3 billion. WGP launched last June 28 and now has a total sales value of P1.6 billion

ALP managing director Jose Juan Jugo said: “West Gallery Place is a sequel to the East Gallery Place, the success of which is admirable. It provides another opportunity to live the vibrant, stylish and creative life that High Street South Block evokes, while providing something distinctive in character. It’s a location where a premium residence like West Gallery Place will be the superior choice in living spaces.”

Residential concepts

To be available at the West Gallery Place are these seven residential concepts:

1Villas. Featuring the return of its innovative townhouse living within a residential building, West Gallery Place will have two units of the four-level villa. These four-level villas have their own private elevator, wraparound balconies on all levels, pool and a large outdoor deck.

Those who prefer only two levels of living space can choose the two-level villas, which have six units. Measuring 259-291 square meters, the villas will have three-bedrooms and balcony sizes of up to 26 sqm.

2 Skycove units. There are only nine bilevel Skycove units with a private deck. They are even more expansive at 259-334 sqm in size. Bruited about as a rejuvenating garden in the sky, Skycove units have views extending to either the eastern or western horizons of the metro.

3 Skyrise units. These are three-bedroom units, located on the 47th and 48th floors. Skyrise units have a four-meter-high ceiling in the living and dining areas that offer sweeping views of the BGC skyline. With five units only per floor, there will be a total of 10 units.

Located at the topmost level of this posh address, the very special Skyrise 49 features uniquely exclusive refinements such as a four-meter high ceiling in the living and dining area, a lap pool, a covered terrace, an expansive outdoor deck and a great hall with a junior master bedroom. This is privacy elevated to the highest level. Named after the topmost level it solely occupies, Skyrise 49 offers an obstructive view of the BGC skyline. It is priced at P234 million.

4 Courtyard units. These are a mix of one-, two- and three-bedroom configurations from the second to the sixth level. Balcony space of up to 84 sqm provides views of Gallery Square, a courtyard separating the villas from the main tower; Gallery Park, the park in between East and West Gallery Place; and Terra 28th, the park adjacent to West Gallery Place on the west side.

5 Parkview Suites. These are three-bedroom units that are larger than usual. They range from 213 to 277 sqm in size and have balconies that have views of the park.

6 South Wing units. Also known as Classic units, these South Wing residences of sensible refinement come in one- and two-bedroom configurations with well-thought-out classic elegance. Through floor-to-ceiling windows, residents of these units will experience exhilarating views of the BGC skyline the hues of which change from sunrise to sunset, culminating at night with the glittering scenery of city lights.

7 North Wing units. With choices of three-bedroom Corner and two-bedroom Flats, residents will be welcomed to the dazzling sights of the metro’s northern side. Floor-to-ceiling windows will bring in generous natural light to distinctive living spaces.

At West Gallery Place, a total of 420 residences will be available. They range in size from 52 sqm for one-bedroom Classic priced at P13 million to an extravagant 701 sqm for a four-level villa with a balcony area of 80 sqm. Turnover of residences will begin by third quarter of 2021.

The exclusive residences will have a grand lobby and drop-off point from 28th Street, a concierge desk, mailroom and a number of back of house facilities. On the seventh floor, the amenity deck will have a function room and social hall, a pool with an adjacent deck, gym with shower and locker rooms, indoor children’s play area and a boardroom.

At the ground levels, there will be a diverse mix of merchants. A pedestrian connection to Bonifacio High Street will be established.

Project development group head Leya Moya noted: “ALP condominium units have a reputation of being luxurious by virtue of the level of craftsmanship, the finishes adorning the units, the size of the units, features and amenities. By having a large number of residential formats, ALP is offering the luxury of choice to its buyers.”

As with all ALP projects though, Jugo said WGP is a product of the premier quality in design, innovation and structure. “We have made a legacy of building premium properties that appreciate over time,” he said.

Architect Manny Illana, Ayala Land Premier studio head, said “the concept of the villas is new. We brought down the penthouse and created a home out of it.”

Illana mentioned a study about the health benefits of greenery. Green space promotes physical activity, psychological well-being and the general health of urban residences.
