CALAMBA, Laguna—Hyundai Asia Resources Inc. (Hari) on Tuesday inaugurated the first phase of its P1.2-billion logistics center, aimed at consolidating the firms operations under a single roof.

“We were manning several operations in different locations before. It is high time for us to consolidate our operations so we could streamline the process flow and become more efficient and more productive, and so we can have better quality control,” Hari president and CEO  Ma. Fe Perez-Agudo said on the sidelines of Hyundai Logistics Center’s inauguration.

The development of the 10-hectare center, said to be the first green automotive logistics facility in the country, will be done in two phases.
