Demand for luxury cars seen rising

Rolls-Royce Motor Cars remained highly bullish of the country’s continued economic success story, which is expected to further fuel demand for the company’s growing line of luxury vehicles.

“We are very pleased with the development of the Philippines… We see a very bright future and we expect the country to continue in that growth path,” said Michael A. Schneider, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars general manager for sales in Asia Pacific.

“Across the region, we see the Philippines definitely in that cluster of strong emerging, developing markets. The best sign that we have this trust and belief in the market is the opening of a showroom in the country with a trusted and well respected local partner whom we’re able to join up with in that growth path to leverage future opportunities,” Schneider added.

Schneider was referring to the Rolls-Royce showroom at the Bonifacio Global City, which was formally opened yesterday. This is the company’s 25th showroom in Asia Pacific outside China.

The exclusive 323-sqm showroom displays three Rolls-Royce models, namely, Phantom, Wraith and the Ghost Series II.

“The opening of this showroom in Manila follows an order history that stretches back to 2005. The burgeoning Philippine economy has been shaped by a group of highly successful entrepreneurs who now wish to reward themselves with nothing less than the pinnacle motor car. The new facility managed by British Bespoke Automobiles Inc. is the perfect place to indulge in authentic contemporary luxury,” noted Paul Harris, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Asia Pacific regional director.
