Asian American entrepreneurs to network with corporate suppliers in San Francisco

SAN FRANCISCO – A conference and business awards reception sponsored by top US corporations will showcase successful Asian American entrepreneurs in the western region will take place October 16 at the Wells Fargo Penthouse in San Francisco.

Wells Fargo, PG&E, Wells & Bennett and The Coca-Cola Company are sponsoring the Procurement Connections & Fast Growing Asian American Business Awards organized by the US Pan Asian American Chamber of Commerce Education Foundation Western Region (USPAACC West).

“This conference is about providing networking opportunities, strengthening business connections and showcasing successful Asian American entrepreneurs in the Western Region,” said Clyde Wong, USPAACC Western Region President. “They will be honored at the Fast Growing Asian American Business Awards Reception for their contribution to the economic stability and job creation.”

Willie Brown Jr., former mayor of San Francisco and former speaker of the California State Assembly and David Chiu, president of the San Francisco Board of Supervisors are the guest speakers for the Awards Reception that will be emceed by Mark Quinn, district director, Small Business Administration, San Francisco District Office.

Asian American, other minority and small business owners will have a chance to meet face to face with corporate and government Supplier Diversity and Small Business Program Managers from AT&T, BART, Comcast, CPUC, DGS, GSA, Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, PG&E, SBA and Wells Fargo, who are among participating corporations and government agencies.
