Philam Life expands corporate clients’ coverage

Philippine American Life and General Insurance Co. (Philam Life) will introduce a wider emergency coverage for its corporate clients.

In a statement, Philam Life said it recently signed an agreement with International SOS, which, the insurance firm claims, is “the world’s leading medical and travel security risk services company specialist.”

Under the partnership, Philam Life’s corporate clients that have availed themselves of the Group Life Insurance policy will have free, 24/7 access to International SOS’s hotline program.

Policyholders would be extended medical care as well as travel assistance by International SOS anywhere in the country and anytime they need it, Philam Life said.

“We are glad to be able to provide our corporate clients with additional benefits in the form of medical and travel security services in partnership with no less than International SOS. It is part of our commitment to provide our clients with superior insurance products,” Philam Life president and chief executive Estelito G. Madrid said.

Philam Life noted that its Group Life Insurance coverage “helps companies and organizations provide their employees with meaningful compensation by supporting their salaries with insurance protection.”

“Companies that get Group Life Insurance coverage are able to give their employees peace of mind and security with life, accident, disability, and health protection,” it added.
