A gated community that has all the trappings of resort living has given an alternative lifestyle down south. True to its name, Pacific Coast Residences can be touted the first resort-style project in the popular village BF Homes in Parañaque, hoping to set the bar higher for resort living when in the city.

The two-hectare sprawling property is by far one of the biggest projects of Luxe Asia, a family-owned company founded by entrepreneur Philip Go. The 29-year-old company, used to be called the Triple Capricorn Inc., is now run by his son Michael.

Living up to its promise, Pacific Coast Residences patterns itself after the seaside communities along the Pacific Coast in California, made up of 10 low-rise condominiums.

Joy Cruz, Luxe Asia vice president for marketing, said the project has attracted a significant number of expatriates and the growing foreign community in the south, owing to its modern tropical esthetics and it being a “reasonable investment.”

“Units have been selling briskly, with bulk buys from Singapore, Korea and the Filipino communities abroad,” Cruz said. She added that the marketing group owes it to the competitive prices on top of their aftersales service and quality units.

Pacific Coast Residences boasts of its laidback atmosphere, big spaces and pockets of green manicured gardens.  The residential units are designed for minimal maintenance. The room layouts open up to each other. The houses are well-ventilated with high ceilings that take in lots of sunlight, Cruz added.

Unit mix

The composition is a good mix of studio, two-bedroom, three-bedroom and four-bedroom units measuring 26, 43, 57 and 115 square meters, respectively. Studio units cost P1.9 million while two-bedroom and three-bedroom units are respectively priced at P2.6 million and P3.9 million. The four-bedroom units cost P7 million. Each unit will have a balcony while the ground floor has a garden area.

The resort’s clubhouse called The Marina Clubhouse is the hub of the community, fully equipped with a fitness gym, poolside veranda and basketball courts. Green spaces will also be made available all throughout the property.

Environmental concerns were carefully considered.  All the trees in the property when bought are still standing.

To date, seven buildings have been completed and ready for occupancy while three more phases are under construction. The residential complex will also be home to several commercial stores and services like laundromats, coffee shops and a convenience store.

Nearby educational institutions are Southville International School, OB Montessori and University of Perpetual Help. Also near Pacific Coast Residences are medical facilities like Las Piñas Doctors Hospital, Perpetual Help Hospital and Medical Center and the Asian Hospital in Alabang. Also not too far away are malls like SM Southmall, SM Las Piñas, Alabang Town Center and SM Sucat.

Frequent travelers and fast-paced professionals would find its accessibility to the Ninoy Aquino International Airport and domestic airport a plus point. The condo complex can be reached via Coastal Highway, South Super Highway, Cavitex and SM Mall of Asia.

Newest project

The Pacific Coast Residences is the newest project of the Go family, who is proud of building Shaw Residenza, the high-rise condominium on Shaw Boulevard in Mandaluyong. Next year the company is set to launch another high-rise project, Shaw Residenza 2 which will have bigger units and a spectacular view of the Wack Wack Golf Course.
