A state agency in Thailand is expected to help the Philippines boost its trade with Asean and other foreign countries, through collaboration in the meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions (MICE) industry.
Nopparat Maythaveekulchai, president of the Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau, said they are ready to be the Philippines’ strategic partner that can provide comprehensive business solutions and efficient integrated exhibition support services.
“Thailand is ready to welcome trade exhibitions and business events from the Philippines, with world-class destinations, unrivalled business opportunities, high quality MICE professionals and standards,” Maythaveekulchai added.
According to TCEB, Philippine industries stand to gain much from participating in Thailand’s MICE industry, which boasts of diverse destinations at the heart of the fast growing Asean region, and numerous collaborations and networks linked to open up opportunities. Amy R. Remo
