The country’s first and longest-running real estate and construction TV show for Filipinos worldwide “Philippine Realty TV” premieres its 12th on Aug. 3 at 9:30 p.m. on the ABS-CBN News Channel (ANC). Hosted by Gabe Mercado and Angel Jacob, the show has yours truly as its third host to add more interior design angles.
“Philippine Realty TV” is the pioneering TV show that features the best real estate development projects across the country, and showcases various suppliers for home building and interior design. It is also the first local TV show that has built concept homes from the ground up, and is the ultimate aspirational show for people looking to buy or build their dream home—whether they want to invest in a condo, house and lot, or second home.
More innovations
“Philippine Realty TV” is now shooting advance episodes for its 12th next building series titled Project: Smart Home—the country’s first flood adaptive home—will break ground in the city of Marikina. The townhomes will be built in an area of Marikina that was inundated under 8 feet of floodwater during the “Ondoy” flood of 2009. The townhomes will feature a raised house design, floatable carports, detachable balcony rafts, and other flood adaptive features. John Aguilar, executive producer of “Philippine Realty TV,” reveals that “there will also be more innovations on the show’s 12th with some of the country’s top real estate developers to help them find the next real estate gems,” he says, adding that the show will make its announcement of its search for landowners who are open for joint-venture projects “in the near future.”
“Philippine Realty TV” Season 12 airs weekly every Sunday at 9:30 p.m. with replays every Saturday at 10:30 a.m. and Sundays at 10 a.m. on ANC, with simultaneous airings on The Filipino Channel (TFC).
