Shang project to rise at the heart of Noma

A FUSION of celebrated world-class architecture and design, together with the build quality that Shang Properties can offer, The Rise is a one-of-a-kind residential and commercial development located at the heart of the burgeoning North Makati district.

It’s a haven for the “hipsters,” the young and the young families.

This is what Shang Properties Inc., one of the country’s leading property developers, had in mind when it recently launched its new project, The Rise Makati. Intended to cater to young and active people in the Metro, the development is set to be completed on the last quarter of 2017.

“The units are specifically designed for the young and active  ‘hipster’ market, but also cater to young families, particularly to the newlyweds, since they are just starting,” Shang Properties marketing manager Milen Treichler said. “They are very dynamic and ‘on the go’ which suits well with The Rise.”

THE FUNCTION rooms provide wide open spaces, with lush views and outside access—suited for any occasion, big or small.

At the heart of Noma

The Rise Makati is situated at the heart of North Makati (Noma) specifically on Ayala Avenue and Malugay Street and is only an eight-minute ride to the Makati Central Business District.

“The Noma district’s beginning to form as a recreational hotspot,” Treichler said, noting that The Rise is located conveniently near establishments like art galleries, delicatessens and bistros, indie music venues and retail stores.

“[It] is an active and thriving creative community for the like minded people to come together… The idea behind The Rise in part is to inspire young people and families to create their homes the way they wish to build their lives,” said Robert Cruz, sales manager of Shang Properties.

COMPLETE with swinging hammocks, lounge chairs and couches, comfort and relaxation are priorities in providing residents with the best way to chill out and take a break.

With around 2,800 units divided into three wings—the north, west and south towers—there are only 17 units allotted per floor of each wing. The propeller-shaped building has a total of 18 elevators placed at each side. The investment costs around P8 billion.

Recreational spots

The Rise will be offering three recreational spots, namely: the Workshop, the Hangout, and the Nest.

THE HANGOUT is the perfect recreational space that is ideal for friends and families to bond over different games or catch up over a cup of coffee.

The Workshop is an alternate office space complete with a library, an IT bar with wired Internet and individual work stations for the residents.

The Nest, or the relaxation area, will have comfy couches and swinging hammocks if the residents choose to have quiet time, while the Hangout gives you an extra recreational space to enjoy with your family and friends.

The condominium will also have amenities such as a gym, a billiards room, a kid’s zone and a 28-meter swimming pool. The two-level boutique retail mall of The Rise is an allotted commercial space to café and bars, restaurants, banks, convenience centers, among other things.

“Basically we are giving them a lifestyle where they don’t even have to leave the building,” Cruz said.

The Shang Properties has another project in the pipeline at the Bonifacio Global City (BGC), Taguig. Shangri-La at the Fort, Manila is a planned mixed-use development featuring a 5-star hotel, hotel residences and upscale condominiums. It will be located at West Super Block, right next to Mind Museum.
