Hair, beauty and nail seminar set

The Golden Treasure Skills and Development Program will conduct a one-day seminar on hair science and beauty culture  combined with nail art design. This will be held at  the College of Social Work and Community Development, Magsaysay Avenue corner Ylanan Street, University of the Philippines, Diliman, Quezon City on June 1, Sunday, from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.

The seminar will demonstrate and include hands-on experience on basic haircuts that will teach participants proper hair sectioning and hair draping. Included also are perming,  application of hair color through  hair dye or using henna wax,  hair highlights, hair rebonding,  hair and scalp treatment through cellophane or natural treatment, and  basic hair styling that will suit different occasions.

Make the proper and latest strategy on make-up contouring, play with various colors for your eye shadows, and get to know the significance of make-up brushes.

Nails need proper care too. Participants will be trained the skill of creatively doing manicure and pedicure designs,  also through hands-on approach with the use of acrylic paints, stones, nail ornaments, and other designing materials.

There will also be a lecture on  hand and foot spas using paraffin. Last, there will be a talk on facial care treatment.

Participants will be given a certificate of training right after the seminar. Lunch and snack will be served. Hand-outs and all the materials needed for actual demo and hands-on will be provided.
