BCDA puts up assets for sale

State-run Bases Conversion and Development Authority is bidding out seven “small value properties” as part of the agency’s asset disposition program.

In a notice, the BCDA said it was selling the 540-square meter Piccio Garden at the Villamor Air Base in Pasay City for a minimum bid price of P8.1 million; and the 225-sq m Summit Housing Lot (Lot 5-C and Lot 5-D) at Fort Bonifacio for a minimum price of P4.6 million.

Also up for sale are lots located on C-5 Road in Taguig City, namely the 85-sq m Lot 4 (for a minimum bid price of P1.44 million); 96-sq m Lot 12515-E (P1.63 million); 519-sq m Lot 25-C and Lot 7 (P8.8 million); 522-sq m Lot 4 (P8.87 million); and the 976-sq m Lot 12509-B (for a minimum bid price of P16.59 million).

According to the BCDA, these lots are being bid out on an “as-is, where-is” basis.

The properties listed are not being sold as one lot, which means that interested parties may choose to bid for any or all of the lots being offered.

Interested bidders will have until June 13 to purchase the terms of reference for a nonrefundable fee of P10,000.

A pre-bid conference will be held on June 6 to allow interested parties to thresh out any concerns or issues regarding the bidding.

This year, the BCDA is putting on the auction block five contracts valued at about P75 billion, covering either asset sale or long-term lease and development.
