2 new classrooms turned over to Flaviana F. Arayat Memorial School

TANZA, Cavite—Property Company of Friends, Inc. (PRO-FRIENDS), one of the fastest growing real estate developers in the country and widely known for  Lancaster New City and Bellefort Estates in Cavite and Parc Regency Residences and Monticello Villas in Iloilo, has formally turned over newly built classrooms to Flaviana F. Arayata Memorial Elementary School on November 29, 2013.

A simple ceremony attended by parents, students, and school officials was held to formalize the turnover of two new classrooms to the school administration. These classrooms, welcomed gladly by the crowd, are slated to be used by students from higher grade levels.

Martin Figueroa, principal of the said school, had the two classrooms prepared ahead of time for academic use prior to the turnover.

“The additional rooms have improved the classes’ condition,” noted Figueroa, who further stressed that rooms in the school no longer need to be overcrowded, making it more conducive to learning.

The donated classrooms are one of PRO-FRIENDS’ pledges to the school as it helped them in this year’s BRIGADA ESKWELA, a project of the Department of Education.

Aside from the classrooms, PRO-FRIENDS representatives donated a computer set, sewing machine, and books for additional aid in educating young children. PRO-FRIENDS employees also took part in the preparation for the school opening by cleaning the surroundings and refurbishing chairs and cabinets, as well as wrapping all books in the library with plastic cover.

Dave Amor, AVP for Marketing of PRO-FRIENDS, underlined the company’s advocacy of continued support to education.

His remarks, addressed to the attendees of the event, included a reminder for students to make good use of the school facilities for educational gains and a heartfelt acknowledgment to both teachers and parents for their unwavering endeavor in giving these students the gift of education.

Amor’s remarks and statements are in line with PRO-FRIENDS’ solid commitment of “Creating communities, transforming lives,” further reinforcing the idea that good education is one of the best ways to achieve this.
