PAL Express flights to Dubai temporarily transferred to new airport

MANILA, Philippines–PAL Express flights to Dubai–2P 658/659–will temporarily land at Al Maktoum  International  Airport (airport code: DWC) starting May 1, 2014 to give  way to the refurbishment of the runway of Dubai International Airport.

Al  Maktoum  International  Airport  is  a  short  distance from the Marina residential   complex  and  less  than  45  minutes  away  from  the  Dubai International  Airport  and  the emirate’s tourist and commercial districts (Bur  Dubai  and Deira). Arriving passengers at DWC can take the RTA bus to
IBN  Battuta  Metro  Station  which  easily  connects to Dubai’s Metro Rail System.

DWC  is  part  of  Dubai  World Central, a multipurpose complex located in Jebel Ali, south west of Dubai.

PAL Express’ mono-class Airbus 330-300 aircraft flies to Dubai five times a week — Monday,  Tuesday,  Wednesday,  Friday, Sunday with an additional Saturday departure starting March 30.

The  flight  schedule will slightly be adjusted with the transfer and leave Manila 1:05 p.m. and arrive at Al Maktoum International Airport 6:05 p.m. The return flight leaves Dubai at 8:30 p.m. and arrives in Manila 9:40 a.m. the next day.

Flight 2P  658  from  Manila  will  resume  landing at Dubai International Airport on July 20, 2014.
