MANILA, Philippines — Hollywood socialite and fashion icon Paris Hilton has debuted into the Asian real estate scene with the launch of an urban beach club she had designed in collaboration with the Century Properties Group at the latter’s resort-themed residential community Azure in Parañaque City.

The 32-year-old Hilton heiress, who signed a partnership deal with CPG in 2011 to lend her creative inputs for the design of a multiple level beach club, is back in town to inaugurate the completed Paris Beach Club.

“This is probably the one project I’m most proud about because real estate is something that runs in my blood,” Hilton said on Thursday. At the launch of the beach club on Thursday, Hilton said she was “blown away” by the Azure project and noted that this was her first step in following her family’s real estate legacy.

Having Hilton on board had added premium to the six-hectare Azure resort-residential community, said CPG co-chief operations officer John Victor Antonio.  “We have envisioned Azure to be an urban paradise, wherein residents can enjoy the beach and resort amenities without having to leave the city.  Having the Paris Beach Club with its amazing features and design specified by Paris furthers that experience,” Antonio said.

Designed for the exclusive use of Azure residents and their guests, the Paris Beach Club is a three-level facility built adjacent to the Azure beach, a man-made beach that’s the first of its kind among residential developments in the country.  This Azure beach has fine sand, simulated ocean waves, a waterfall, a poolside bar and an infinity pool that overflows into the private beach coves at the opposing ends of the development.  The first phase of Azure beach has been completed to date.

“I really love the concept of Azure because I thought of how cool it is in the middle of the city to have a man-made beach that is so beautiful and breath-taking.  I want to live here.  If I lived in the Philippines, I would definitely live in Azure,” Hilton said.

The three-level Paris Beach Club offers space for intimate gatherings, dining, fitness, play and relaxation.  It has a stylish lobby with comfortable velvet chairs, a colorful ice cream and candy bar, a social lounge, exclusive spa areas, indoor and outdoor restaurants and a state-of-the-art fitness center.  The hub also offers a game room, a theater room and daycare amenities for kids.

“It has really been exciting to have my first real estate project.  Century Properties is a great company to work with,” Hilton said, adding that the Antonio family – the property firm’s lead shareholder group – was “very sweet” and that she felt like their “adopted daughter.”

“Real estate is something that I’ve always been involved in and this project is so perfect for me.  I love designing.  I have 17 different product lines and I’ve been doing this now for 18 years.  It’s been a lot of work and I enjoyed doing it so much,” she said.

Antonio said CPG had tapped Hilton’s creative inputs to provide the residents of Azure with a world-class residential resort experience.  “So we chose to partner with an equally world-class personality known for her fine taste, having been exposed to the world of real estate development early on and the world’s top beach destinations,” Antonio said.
