First boutique hotel to rise in Puerto Princesa

MANILA, Philippines—Data Land, Inc. has announced the groundbreaking of its very first boutique hotel in Puerto Princesa, Palawan – The Ivy Wall.

Slated to finish in 2015, The Ivy Wall will be constructed by one of the Philippines’ top contractors, and also a sister-company of Data Land, DDT Konstract, Inc.

“The Ivy Wall will add a new energy to Puerto Princesa as the city is booming with business and leisure travelers looking for quality affordable hotels,” said Paul R. Chua, AVP for Business Development of Data Land, Inc.

“This (hotel) will definitely fill that gap and cater to those type of tourists who are eager to find a most convenient place to stay in Puerto Princesa as it is very near the airport,” said Chua.

Situated less than one kilometer from the airport, The Ivy Wall Hotel, is a 3,500 square meters property on Rizal Avenue.

Its 120 rooms are stylized in modern Filipino translating the ambiance of warmth and hospitality into a single space.

External and general designs are, on the other hand, contemporary giving a modern and minimalistic twist to the façade.

In addition to its well-appointed guestrooms, the hotel will have beyond the basics common areas such as the grand lobby, a health spa, restaurant and bar, outdoor swimming pool, ballroom area/function rooms, and a substantial number of meeting areas.  The hotel is also Wi-Fi covered providing a convenience like no other.

Partnering with Data Land in delivering the company’s stand on ‘quality beyond the basics’ is Best Western International who is known for hospitality excellence.  The Ivy Wall will be among its 4,000 independently owned and operated hotels all over the world.

Data Land, Inc. is the brainchild of the owners of DDTKI.  Anchored on DDTKI’s construction expertise, DLI is positioned to deliver its real-estate products a cut above its class, thus, DLI’s proposition is crafted around “Quality Beyond the Basics”.
