Concentrix Corp., the global business process services division of US-based Synnex Corp., plans to expand its core business in the Philippines, which is deemed a significant source of talent for its business.
Junar Amador, vice president and general manager of Concentrix Philippines, said in a statement that Concentrix recognized the significance of the country as an integral part of its future growth plans given the availability of competent workers.
“The ease with which our Filipino partners interact with our clients and their innate competence have made us at Concentrix take note of how this market is truly valuable for the company. Thus, our corporate direction will reflect that moving forward,” Amador explained.
The planned expansion in the Philippines was in line with Synnex’s $1.2-billion acquisition of IBM’s worldwide customer care services business, which is being integrated with Concentrix in a bid to extend the latter’s portfolio and enhance the ability to maximize customer engagement strategies for clients.
Once all transactions have been completed and all IBM CRM professionals are officially onboard, Concentrix is expected to have approximately more than 45,000 agents servicing over 300 clients through over 50 delivery centers worldwide.
This move will support Concentrix’s focus on adding value at every stage of the customer lifecycle, the company explained.

Concentrix provides business process services for technology manufacturers, software companies, gaming companies, banks, insurance firms, healthcare companies, retail stores and more.
Its parent firm, Synnex, is a Fortune 500 corporation that services resellers, retailers and original equipment manufacturers in many regions around the world.
