In the condo development industry, we are all familiar with the high-end projects from the slew of well-known real estate developers in the country. I am always pleasantly surprised to learn of other companies in the industry, and amazed at what so many entrepreneurs have created.

One such company that I recently got to work with is Moldex Realty (www.moldexrealty.ph). Our interior design firm, Trezza Group, was commissioned to create the penthouse model unit for their flagship project, the Golden Empire Tower on historic Roxas Boulevard in Manila.

The Golden Empire Tower is 57 stories of luxurious residences, all with stunning views of our world-famous Manila Bay sunset. Creating the penthouse model unit for this property was a pleasure more than a job. I had a lot of fun creating various designs for the well space-planned penthouse, with its spacious areas for living, dining and sleeping.

FEATURED STORIES

I also learned that Moldex has a long history and various other fantastic projects, including The Grand Towers Manila. Perfectly situated on Pablo Ocampo Sr. Street (formerly Vito Cruz) and within walking distance of top educational institutions like De La Salle University and St. Scholastica’s  College, The Grand Towers Manila  creates an incity lifestyle and one of the most desirable city homes for families with college-age children.

A third project in Manila is the Grand Riviera Suites, a 55-story residential skyscraper at the corner of Roxas Boulevard and Padre Faura Street, just across the US Embassy. This project has condos that blend modern contemporary design with upscale bayside living.

Moldex Realty is part of the Moldex Group of Companies, owned by the Uy family, which started out in manufacturing various types of plastic pipes and fittings. Since its inception in 1987, Moldex Realty has established a strong presence and has made a name in the Philippine real estate arena.

The company develops subdivisions and housing projects based on modern design concepts. These include horizontal developments like Metrogate Communities and Heritage Homes in Tagaytay, Cavite, Laguna, Bulacan and Pampanga.

Moldex also has two township projects—the 130hectare, floodfree Moldex New City in San Jose del Monte, Bulacan, and the 250hectare, premier ecopolis of the south, Metrogate Silang Estates in Cavite.

On the vertical side, aside from the three bay area towers, there are the mid-rise condos—the Moldex Residences Series, found in Valenzuela and in Baguio. This year, Moldex will introduce Metro-Tagaytay, a premier residential subdivision in Manila’s southern playground.

Indeed, the company seems set to fly high in 2014. Moldex Realty’s management and staff exhibit an enlivened spirit, strong determination and a steadfast commitment to its customers. The future bodes well for this highly diversified company. For more info on Moldex and their projects, call 717-8880.
