Globe sees sustained growth for home Internet brand
Globe Telecom anticipates sustained growth for its home Internet brand, Tattoo Home, following strong results last year.
In a statement, the company noted that more products and higher awareness so far resulted in a “positive response” for the broadband market, which continues to grow. Globe Tattoo Home increased subscribers by 17 percent in the nine months to September last year. It did not cite specific figures.
Tattoo Home Broadband now offers upgraded bundle plans, including Plan 1599 that gives customers speeds of up to 5 Mbps. Other broadband bundles are Plan 1099 at 2 Mbps, Plan 1299 at 3 Mbps and Plan 2499 at 7 Mbps.
All bundled plans come with its own landline unit that gives subscribers access to unlimited landline calls to Globe and TM mobile subscribers nationwide, Globe said.
This has become a standard feature in the bundles, giving subscribers the convenience to stay connected to their family and friends without paying for the Internet and landline connection separately. Internet-only plans are also available with 1 and 3 Mbps at Plan 899 and Plan 999, respectively.
In the same statement, Globe added that Tattoo Platinum, the premium broadband product, had continued its expansion to provide fiber powered home broadband experience powering up the community in Rockwell Makati with the ultra-high speed home broadband service.
