Sweden’s Ericsson to open network center in China
STOCKHOLM—Wireless equipment maker LM Ericsson says it plans to open a global network operations center in China due to higher demand for managed services.
The company said Wednesday that the center will open before the end of this year. It will start with around 300 staff, but is expected to grow to some 500 within six months.
Ericsson, based in Stockholm, manages networks serving about 800 million subscribers.

It already has similar service center operations in Romania , Mexico and India.
The Indian center employs around 5,000 staff.
