LBP income up 24% to P6.2B as of end-July

Land Bank of the Philippines generated a net income of P6.2 billion as of July, growing by 24 percent from P5 billion in the same period last year.

LBP is thus confident that it would be able to exceed its net income target of P8.5 billion for the whole of 2011.

“Definitely, we [the bank] will exceed that,” said Landbank president Gilda Pico.
