Sun Life celebrates financial freedom in first It’s Time! Awards
Being the country’s first sustainable and multimedia financial literacy advocacy, It’s Time! has inspired Filipinos to take charge of their finances. It has reaped awards and recognition for helping families and individuals achieve their financial goals.
Led by the Sun Life Foundation, It’s Time! now aims to recognize Filipinos who have championed its worthy cause. Individuals and communities are all welcome to share their successful stories of financial freedom. Stand up, be counted, and serve as an inspiration through the first It’s Time! Awards.
“This is the first time that we are holding such a recognition program for our ‘It’s Time!’ advocates. By honoring individuals who embody the mission of pursuing financial freedom, we encourage other Filipinos to start fulfilling their financial goals,” says Veron Estrella, Sun Life Financial-Philippines (SLFP) Chief Human Resources Officer and Sun Life Foundation Executive Director.
Yet another first from the country’s first and longest-standing life insurer, the It’s Time! Awards is looking for people in any of the four categories: Family Icon, Investment Savvy Star, Retirement Champion, and Wealth Wonder.
A Family Icon immortalizes their love thru income protection, while the Investment Savvy Star reaps the reward of sharing the wisdom of making their money work for them. A Retirement Champion has mastered the lesson of planning early to win in their golden years, while a Wealth Wonder embodies the lesson of financial planning and has triumphed over adversity through sound money management.
Nominate deserving and inspiring Filipinos for the first It’s Time! Awards. Submit entries online via www.itstime.com.ph or send the nomination form to Sun Life Foundation 5/F Tower 2 The Enterprise Center Ayala Avenue Makati City. Nominations shall be accepted until September 2 and category finalists shall be announced on September 23.
